Membership

Membership shall be open to any individual who meets the membership criteria, is committed to furthering the objectives of the Association, and whose application for admission as a member has received the approval of the Board of Directors of the Association.

The Association has four (4) categories of Members:

• Hotel Members
• Affiliate (Supplier) Members
• Honourary Members
• Associate Members

MEMBERSHIP DEFINITIONS:

HOTEL MEMBERS shall be those Members who are employed in a sales and/or marketing capacity in the hotel industry, and who have not yet qualified for professional accreditation as a FULL PROFESSIONAL MEMBER.

AFFILIATE MEMBERS shall be representatives of organizations which provide goods and/or services to the hotel (hospitality) industry.

HONOURARY MEMBERS shall be individuals upon whom the Association shall confer Honourary membership, by reason of their distinguished contribution to the Association and to the profession.

ASSOCIATE MEMBERS shall be those educational institutions recognised by the Association and through which all students enrolled at the institution and registered in hospitality sales and marketing courses/programs may access CHMSE associate member benefits.
